Question: Does a !.!.!.!.hurt!?
does a blood test hurt!.!.well i have had one before but it was a long time ago like 5 years i am supposed to get one done today and i am so freakin nervous coz i hate anything with needles and blood and pricks!!! is it that bad!.!.suggest soem good ways of not feeling the pain!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had a lot of blood taken in the last month, and believe its not as bad as you often make yourself believe it is!. Just drink a lot of water that day to make your veins plumper and easier to stick so they won't have to prick you more than once, look away when they prick you, and don't let yourself get to worried about it and you will be fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com
It hurts a little, and you're going to feel a bit of pain no matter what!.
If the needles and the blood make you nervous, make sure that you close your eyes or turn your head away!. It doesn't help to watch the needle do the pricking, or watch the blood fill the tube!.
Breathe deeply and slowly, and try not to move when you feel the poke!. If you jerk your arm away, they'll just have to do it again!.
The whole thing will be over in less than a minute! Remind yourself that it is a very small part of your day and that it will be over soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

uhh not to scare you but i thought it did hurt!. i was pretty young i guess but i think i thought about it wayyyy too much!. just dont be as dumb as me and dont wory about it as much!.

It will only hurt for a second, the stick as the needle goes in and a sting when they take it out!. Hopefully you will get a talented venipuncturist - skill in using the needle counts for a lot!.
