Mass bleeding during sex?!

Question: Mass bleeding during sex!?
Yesterday I had sex for the 3rd time, and only when we had finished I realised that there was a quite large sized puddle of blood!. I was kinda freaking out, but he kept saying to me 'It's me, don't worry, it's happened before', but I'm not sure whether he was saying that to calm me down!. Sex didn't hurt at all, and I haven't previously bled so I'm really confused!. However, a short time before sex he fingered me and as a little rough and that hurt a bit, but surely I would have started bleeding then!? I'm not due on for 2 weeks so it can't be periods!. There was still blood falling in my underwear for a few hours later, though I'm not sure whether this was because he bled inside me or something!? I'm really worried if it's him, why!? Or is it more likely to be me without realising it!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First see your doctor and explain, tell him/her what your boyfriend said and ask his advice, he will most likely examine you and will be able to tell if you were the cause of the bleeding or not!. If it is your boyfriend, then he really needs to see his doctor and get this looked at!. As he says this has happened before, the answer on this page may help!.

You need to find out if it was from him or from you, sit down and ask him how he knew it was from him!.
I would definatly get him to go to the doctor about this if he hasn't already!.
Don't panic if it is form you, these things happen from time to time, but again you might want to go to the doctor just to be on the safe side!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You both need to go to the doctor!.

Please find out why he has bled previously

And in future remember to use a condom and refrain from sex until you are sure he is the one you want to marry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It best to consult a OB/Gyn doctor!. If it is he, he may have some STDs or if it is you, it may be cervical cancer!. Better get fast check up babe !Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is most important that you pluck up the courage to attend your doctor for an examination to find out the cause of the bleeding after sex!.

The most likely cause is a cervical erosion!. To the naked eye, this looks like a graze on the neck of the womb, which is prone to bleed on contact during sex!.

Erosions are more likely to occur when on the pill or pregnant and can be treated by heating or freezing the surface of the bleeding area, either under a short anaesthetic or in the out patient clinic at the gynaecology department of your local hospital!.

Your doctor will probably want to perform an internal examination to assess the size and shape of your womb and ovaries and to find out if there are any problems going on within the pelvis!.

They may also take a cervical smear test to check for cancerous change and swabs to look for infection, including chlamydia!.

Yours sincerely
