Question: Help me please! Lump in throat feeling & Burning sensation!.!.!?
Recently (about two weeks ago) I started experiencing a burning sensation on my tongue!. I was worried that it was something sexually transmitted (I took an HIV test on Thursday and it was negative (4-5 weeks after possible exposure), the DOC said that if my symptoms were symptoms of HIV, it would not have returned a negative result!.) She also said it does not look like an STD (herpes/syphillis)!.
On Friday, I began to notice a that it feels like there is a lump in my throat!. It sort of feels like there is a pill stuck there!. My glands do no feel swollen to the touch, but I do get that occasional 1 or 2 second shot of small pain to the neck area!. Also, I have noticed that burping makes that "lump feeling" feel way better!. I also taste my food whenever I burp!. Several times I have woken up in the middle of the night (prior to getting these symptoms) and feeling like I was choking (or going to throw up) I am overweight by about 50 lbs!. Is there a way it could be GERD!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My friend has Gerd, and one of her main symptoms is that she gets very bloated, but have you ever heard of a Hyadil Hernia!? I don't know if I spelled that right or not, but my Mom has one, and it causes her to burp a lot!. I'm not sure if she has a feeling of having a lump in her throat, but I do know that she has to sleep with her head about three or four inches above her heart every night, so you might mention that to your doctor and see if they think it might be that!. First off take yourself to the doctor so you can rule out all of those things and stop doctoring on yourself and just go to a real one and be ready to provide all of that good information you have just given us!. I hope you feel better soon!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Its probably GERD!. You dont always experience a heartburn feeling!. I have acid reflux disease and I dont get heartburn that often!. Taking maalox or pepto bismol will help with it, but you need to see a dr!. for long term care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
