Ability to Sleep?!

Question: Ability to Sleep!?
Okay, this may seem a tad silly to you, but, please, bare with me!.

Do most humans have the ability to just lay down for say, about a half hour and start sleeping!?

Because whenever I try to sleep, I have to already be tired before I can get to sleep!. So, say I have a huge trip coming up tomorrow, and I have to go to bed early, I won't be able to actually go to sleep early, I normally just lay in my bed, trying my darnedest to get to sleep, but I never do until around my normal bedtime!.

The reason I ask this, is because, whenever my father needs to go on a long trip and get up early, he is ALWAYS able to get to sleep, even if he was only awake for about 6 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone's different! I have to stay up till I'm sleepy to fall asleep!. My husband can say, "I'm gonna take a nap," and he's asleep in 2 minutes! I can't believe it!
The vitamin Melatonin helps many people feel sleepy!. The same with any antihistimine!. (That's the same ingredient they put in Sominex or Tylenol Pm!. (Tylenol, plus a antihistimine!.)
It's almost impossible for people like us to lay in bed TRYING to get tired!. Frustrating too! Try Melatonin!.
Good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

People are different, and so your "clock" is set differently, I have the same problem so i spend time on here, untill about 11:30 wich is when i fall asleep usually!. so dont worry, as long as the time you usually go to sleep at is enough to keep u going!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
