Is there such a thing as a 1,000 mg vicodin?!

Question: Is there such a thing as a 1,000 mg vicodin!?
Answers:
I think you are thinking about the dosage of the Acetaminophen in vicodin!. These are the doses that vicodin comes in, the highest is 750 of Acetaminophen!.
Hydrocodone /Acetaminophen
5 mg /500 mg
7!.5 mg /750 mg
10 mg /660 mg

1000mg of Acetaminophen is the maximum an adult can take at one time/dose, with 4000 in one day without overdosing!. Acetaminophen is, Tylenol, Excedrin, and other name brand pain relievers like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, and no!. What is commonly referred to as a1,000 mg of vicodin is actually 10 mg!. 750s are actually 7!.5 mg, and 500s are 5 mg!. If you have pills that you are unsure of, you can google the imprints on the pill (both sides), and check out information on the drug on websites!. A lot of websites will have a pic to go with it too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. A doc can prescribe 10/500 for example which is 10 mg oxycodone and 500 mg tylenol!. 1000 mg (the higher number) would indicate the amount of tylenol in the medication and 1000 mg is too high a dose for tylenol to be taken on a regular basis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a few have said, the 1,000mg refers to acetominophen, not hydrocodone (the good stuff)!. People that said they took a thousand milligrams of Vicodin don't know what they're talking about, or are trying to rip somebody off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Not unless you take enough 7!.25/300 vicodins to amount to a thousand milligrams!.!.!.but you'd, also, be puking your guts out and wishing you'd never thought of such a thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
