How much coffee can you safely drink each day?!

Question: How much coffee can you safely drink each day!?
I absolutely love coffee, and drink a huge mug of it in the morning and an iced coffee or frap after school, and sometimes a regular cup after dinner!. I realize this is a bit much, but could it really be harmful!? I'm 16 and taking an intense workload this year, and the coffee helps keep me focused!. Plus, I dance so I feel like I need the energy coffee gives me!. I don't think it's harmful in any way, and am hoping to get confirmation of that!.

My parents are now freaking out over me being too thin & telling me that I'm drinking too much coffee!. I'm 16, fully grown (I'm 5'9), and very healthy!. I do sometimes have a hard time sleeping, but I don't necessarily think it's because of the coffee since I usually don't have any after 9!.

Does anyone know how much is okay to drink in a day!? My dad says I should just have one cup (like a regular cup!) a day!. It's okay to have more than that though, right!?

If anyone knows the safe amount of coffee to drink per day, I'd be grateful!. Thx!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I love coffee, too!. I used to drink two pots of it a day, but I'm cutting back since there are quite a few dangers to drinking too much caffeine!. Have a small cup in the morning and maybe another sometime in the afternoon!. Instead, drink more tea!. Tea has some caffeine as well as antioxidants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
