How can you tell when your appendix and/or gallblader are ready to burst?!

Question: How can you tell when your appendix and/or gallblader are ready to burst!?
Answers:
Any extreme pain on the right side of your abdomen should bring you to the hospital (lower right for appendix, gall bladder pain can be felt as far up as the heart, and sometimes mimics a heart attack), esp!. if accompanied by a fever!. You should go to the emergency room immediatly!.!.!. once the pain stops in an infected appendix, it's too late, it has already burst, and nobody can really tell you when that will happen!. It could take hours, it could take days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a simple test for appendicitis (swollen appendix) is to lie on your back with your legs bent, knees pointed to the ceilings and feet flat on the surface!. your feet should be about 6 inches away from your buttocks!. this should be a relaxed position!.

have a friend place 4 fingers at the right lower part of your abdomen (approximately where you feel a stitch when you over exert)!. then have him/her press quickly and sharply downward and pull back as quickly!. you would feel an intense sharp pain if your appendix is ready to burst!. this is called the "bounce" test!.

also, most people can't walk on their right leg, preferring to keep it close to the body or with the knees slightly bent as putting weight on it causes intense pain at the right abdominal area as well!. some people have fever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your appendix is inflamed you will have whats called rebound tenderness in the lower left part of your abdomen, if you push down you will recoil so much in pain that it will make you jump off a table!.
If your gall bladder is inflamed, you will have pian in your epigastric region(upper stomach), that will radiat to your rright side and your back!.
The only way to tell if they are rupturing is to have an ultrasound done, however if you have gall stones or an inflamed appendix your MD will refer you to a bariatric surgeon or an gastroenterologist to have either one removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had gallstones when I was 17 and was very close to having my gallbladder rupture before I had it removed!. I had stabbing chest pain, so bad it felt like I'd been impaled!. It went all the way through my body to my back!. Many middle aged people who have gallstones and have an attack of pain from it think they're having a heart attack!. It wasn't constant, maybe a few times a week for several minutes each time!. Eating fatty foods brought it on!. The pain can also be in your upper back instead of your chest or be in your shoulder blade!. If it actually ruptures, the pain will be absolutely unbearable and not stop!.

Your appendix causes intense pain much lower down on your abdomen!. That I haven't had, but I don't think it's possible to confuse the two!.

Based on the questions your posting you need to see a doctor!. Serious abdominal pain needs to be checked out!. It could be as simple as bad heartburn or it could be a sign that you need surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
