My vision is blurry with the new lenses in my glasses?!

Question: My vision is blurry with the new lenses in my glasses!?
I got a new prescription for my glasses because the eye doctor told me my old prescription was too strong!. But when I got the new lenses, my vision was terrible!. Everything was blurry - it was difficult to read print or see the TV, and reading road signs was impossible!. I was told by the optician that it could take a week to adjust, but I've had new prescriptions before and never anything like this!. After 2 days there was no improvement!. I called the eye doctor and was told I had to wear them for 2 weeks before I could come back for a recheck! I can't do that - I need to work, I'm an editor and I can't see well enough to read!. What should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Will your doctor let you come in and get a check on your glasses to see if they match the prescription!? It's possible that whoever made your glasses made a mistake!. This has happened to me before!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You know what, the same thing happened to me!. Sounds to me like you need to get a new doctor, or get a little mean!. Sometimes doctors think they know it all and mess up!. I would get angry and tell them you demand them to see you now and make your eyes right or you want your money back and you will go elsewhere!. JUST TELL THEM TO DO THEIR JOB DAMN IT!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Can you get a scond opinion from someone!?
They may have put the lenses on the wrong side!
You shouldn't have to wait two weeks!.!.!.!.!.
you could be doing more damage to your eyes!!!
Go and see someone else!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd check with a different doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go back and tell them you need them fixed now - and if you have to get bold with them!. Tell them you can not wait the time they want you to, that the glasses are wrong and you can not do your work!. If they still don't help you out right away I would go to a different doctor - but first make sure you call your insurance co!. and tell them what has happened and then report the place of business to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) Give them a bad rating!. Also make sure you tell everyone you know how terrible they where to you and how they made the mistake and wouldn't do anything to help you!. Word of mouth is the best advertisment - good or bad! Good-luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
