Question: Why is it taking so long for my glasses to turn up!?
I just found out I'm short sighted last Wednesday and that I need glasses for reading and stuff!. They said my glasses would be made in under a week and they'd ring me when they'd made some with my lense size and it's been over a week now and they still haven't rang!.

no really some of the shops over here can give u ur glasses in only 15 min!.!.!.!.but others in 2 days!.!.!.!.or even a week

From my experience glasses usually take from a week to 2 weeks to get done, and they used to tell that they would let you know when they arrive, but now you have to go in to see if they have arrived!. If they did tell you that they would let you know and gave you a time scale on when they would come in!. And it hasn't in that time, it would be best to ring them up to see what is happening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
On average, except vision express who have a lab on site, it takes about 2 weeks for a pair of single vision glasses!. In my experience they have a lab somewhere in the country that makes and fits the lenses and they use a courier service to bring the orders back!.

if u go to the myth section of yahoo answers theyd tell u that the fairys took it!. and im talking bout the flying kind!. idk how the whole mail system works!. but when my cousin sends me mail form 1 state away it takes about 3 weeks for me to get it!. i doubt it is cus he is in prison!. the mail system needs correction jus like our goverment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it because they will probably have to post the glases and lenses to a lens specialist (someone who shapes them to fit into the glases) so there could be some problems with sending them back!.!.!. id phone the opticians and see what they say though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yea, maybe try ringing them and asking why your glasses haven;t showed up but if you dont have a phone or there number or something, just wait um yea i dont really know

Give them a call to see if they have sent them, if they have, ask them how you can track the parcel as it seems to have gone astray, or you may find that they have not sent them because there was a problem with the order, perhaps the frames were out of stock or the payment didn't go through or any number of things!. Probably best to have the person who paid for the item call, like your Mum or whoever as they may refuse to deal with anyone else!. I hope they turn up soon, I always find it really exciting when I get new glasses, dunno why!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
