Morphine - its derived from opium - the mother of heroin - and named after the Greek God of dreams - Morpheus!. Parts of the opium plant are also used to make codeine - another happy/sleepy maker!.

I would disagree with the rest of the answers because personally, being a recovering opiate addict myself, I felt that fentanyl was the most dangerous and most addictive opiate out there - and I've tried them all!.!.!.!.!.fentanyl nearly killed me, but I was so addicted, I kept using it!. All opiates, however, are extremely addicting and even more dangerous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
