Does EVERYBODY need to take their tonsils out?!


Question: Does EVERYBODY need to take their tonsils out!?

No, I still have mine and I am 36, my husband still has his also!.
My daughter had hers removed when she was 3!. As the doctor said--they were working against has and posioning her body!. She ahs not had strep-throat one time sine then and she is 12!.
It looks like my oldest daughter will be having hers removed this summer, she is 18!.
She woke up with a sore throat again this morning, the doctor said if it happened one more time before this Aug, she would need them removed!. Hers are very large!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. when I was young, tonsillectomies were very common because Drs believed it would be keep children from getting throat infections!. As the years went on, they realized that children were still getting the same infections, but since they didn't have tonsils, the infections went elsewhere and were harder to treat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

definitely not - most people live their entire lives with them intact with no problems - it was a "fad" 50 years or so ago when many children had a "T&A" (tonsils and adenoids removed) but thankfully this no longer seems to be the case -

that said, i was one of those "fad" kids and had em yanked, and've lived all these years with no problems from it - so!. !. !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. but if you do hold your breath as you pull!. jA frijend of mine took his tonsils out and it almost killed him because his hand got stuck in his throuat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no but i had to cause i used too stop breathing at night, people have to get them out if their too big and im 12 and i got them out when i was like 9Www@Answer-Health@Com
