Alcohol is the main cause of liver failier and can even cause cancer!. It causes so much damage to society ie, road accidents, fights resulting in fatal injury, sleeping or cheating with other partners, not to mention brain impairment and making yourself look like a complete asshole!. Alcohol has no doubt caused so many deaths!.
Marijuana on the other hand, what does it do apart from get you high and giggly and having feeling of peace!. It on its own has never been linked to a single death and has no way near as many detrimental health effects as alcohol does!.

I have not used marijuana for several years however you are correct, alcohol is much more harmful than marijuana!. I see nothing wrong with people doing this stuff at home in the evening or on the weekends!. Our govt!. looks foolish and shows it's ignorance on banning this substance!. Alcohol and tobacco lobbies are very powerful and know that if it were legal, their profits would plunge!. And you know money talks, just follow the money blah blah blah!. If marijuana were legal, traffic deaths would also drop as well as lung and all other cancers!. Unfortunately, until Americans become educated on this subject and not by the wrong people it will be illegal!. I totally agree with you! One of the main problems with marijuana it's that some add pesticides and other chemicals that are harmful to the user as it leads to depression and other emotional problems!.
Indians have used it for hundreds of years to control pain, sleeping problems, lack of sexual drive and much more!

My daughter took marijuana ONCE she was off work for a YEAR and had to attend hospital, I am not too sure if she is over the effects yet!.

Well kg986, It so happens that Mary Jane does in fact cause damage!. It has been proven that it destroys brain cells!. It also impairs ones mental capacity while on it!. And don't think that Marijuana is not addictive because it most certainly is!. I have seen and talked with people who had become addictive to it!. The big problem is that most people like the high it gives them but after a while it starts to wear off and they can't get that 'high' any more!. So they try something different that can give them that feeling again!. And that's something much worse!.!.!.!. cocaine!.

im a pot head but i think marijuana is illegal because the government knows its not that bad and if it were sold like alcohol the marget would go up so much that they would never be able to take it away just like tabacco!. tabacco is a big part of the market system stocks wouuld drop like crazy!. and since you cant really die from smokin pot everyone would realize its really not too much harm and the only reason people dont like it is because its illegal!. everyone would be stoned 24/7!. alcohol is a little different!. you cant take a few shots before you go to sleep then wake up and drink more, unless your a pretty hardcoreWww@Answer-Health@Com
