Question: Really bad sore throat and I can't seem to swallow my food!!?
Hey you guys,
I had a really bad cold for like a week and I don't have it anymore but now I've developed a really bad sore throat to the extreme that I can't eat anything!. I don't have any white spots on my throat or anything and I guess I should mention I had a fever yesterday but I'm better now!.
So what do you all reccomend doing!? Should I go to the doctor!? Will he have to give me a shot for this!? Help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you have your tonsils!? It sounds like it could be tonsilitis!. Inflammation of the tonsils!. I have this several times and it is very painful!. To the point where I couldn't even swallow my own saliva!. They really can't do anything for it because it is a virus!. I had to try and swallow down as much fluid as I could!. That's how the doctor said I would get better!. It lasted for about a week and half!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had this same problem a few years ago and after a few days I literally wanted to die it was so bad!. The only thing that helped were antibiotics from the doctor!. At first I was afraid to swallow the pills because I could hardly swallow water, but it cleared up in a few days with medication, I wish I would have done it sooner!. I never found out if it was strep or anything!. Just get it taken care of soon or you will regret it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like strep throat!.!.!. which can be very painful!. The good news is!.!.!. a doctor can perscribe something called the "Z" Pack!. I don't know the proper name for the anti-biotic!.!.!. but it is nicknamed the "Z" pack!. Rather than a 30 day cycle it only takes 5 days and you feel a 100 times better by day 2!. I would get to the doctors ASAP!.
Oh!.!.!. and no shot if that is what you are nervous about!.!.!. they are tiny pills to swallow!.

gargle some warm water with salt in it!. the warmer the better!. and yes go to the doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
