Strange Sleep Habits and getting up on the night?!

Question: Strange Sleep Habits and getting up on the night!?
I'm very concerned for my fiance!. He has been getting up lately in the middle of the night after having strange dreams, thinking it's time for work (his work schedule varies from 5am-11am), showers in a hurry thinking hes late, gets out of the shower and then realizes it's 3am or 1am (etc!.)!. and goes back to bed!. Sometimes he gets so confused he gets up showers eats and as he's walking to his car realizes what time it is!. I've only woken up twice to this, but he's told me it's now happened at least six times!. Can anyone suggest a reason for his behavior or a correct doctor he might want to see!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I don't have the solution, but he is likely sleepwalking!. People have been known to drive in this state!. If I were you, I'd put loud alarms on the doors, just for his safety!.

My EX husband did this type of thing!. He didn't shower, but he would get up, talk, eat, walk around and sometimes "fight" with an imaginary person, among other things!. It was very difficult to wake him!. He even tried to hurt me, and was completely unaware!.

When you wake him, you should do so in a way that he can't accidently hurt you!.

A doctor will likely prescribe him sedatives to make him sleep deeper!. Personally, I don't think that's the best way to go!.

Since he is always trying to get to work, I'm inclined to think something at work is bothering him!. Maybe he has too much to do and feels like he needs to finish!. A new project, a heavier workload, change in job duties!.!.!.anything work related!.!.!.!.Has anything changed at work!? What about financially!? Do you have more debt!?

I think there is something on his mind that makes him feel the need to work!. Think hard and see if anything has changed that coincides with this!. If you can find out, it may help!. Therapy can help too, and sleep clinics are available to study his brain waves while he sleeps!.

Good luck!.!.!.I wish I could help more!. Just be sure he doesn't have access to car keys or something really bad could happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well first of all, is he taking any kind of prescription meds!? that is very important to know before i can tell you any suggestions!.!.!.!.

but let's say he is not!.!.!.!.then i would guess that he has a LOT of things involving work on his mind, and it is subconsciously getting in the way of his sleep!. He probably goes to sleep thinking about work!. Has he ever been known to sleep walk!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My husband changed his work schedule from a!.m!. shirt to p!.m!. shift for a few months once, and the first couple of months, he was a real weirdo! He never really knew what time it was, and no matter how many hours of sleep he got, he was always tired! I would have him at least call his Dr!. and make sure that there isn't some other underlying problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Boy, he must be really stressed!. Is he sleepwalking!? Many people do all the thngs you mentioned while be completely asleep!. He should talk to his doctor about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
