Answers:
General rule is not to drink when on any medication!.

Antibiotics are probably not the cause why you should not drink, but your disease (infection, I guess) speaks against drinking!. Bacteria consume alcohol and this may cause additional symptoms you don't want!. Alcohol also temporarily lowers your immunity, what can slows the healing of infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's just an antibiotic!. You should be able to drink while on that!. Generally, narcotics, like codine, are the ones you do NOT want to mix with alcohol!. You should be fine!. Otherwise, if your that worried about it, call your local pharmacy and they can explain more about the drug and what could happen and if it is safe!. But, from my experience, you should be just fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd check with your doctor!. Found this from Drugs!.com though:

"Using alcohol and these cephalosporins together may cause abdominal or stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness or light-headedness, shortness of breath, sweating, or facial flushing; this reaction usually begins within 15 to 30 minutes after alcohol is consumed and usually goes away over several hours!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can, but if you're a frequent drinker of caffeine or alcohol, if you smoke, it may affect the way your medicine works!.
I'd check with your doctor!.
I think you should be okay though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Check with ur doctor!. I'm concerned you might die!. JK! But the best thing is to check with your doctor!. But if you feel that it's okay, do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

why didnt you just wait to start them if you were going to be drinking!. Call a pharmacy to find out the rules!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sure, why don't you go shoot yourself too!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
