Question: 5 days after surgery, slight headache everyday!. Could this be from the general anesthesia!?
It was just a minor laparoscopy surgery thro my belly button!. I feel slightly achy in my head, everyday since surgery!. I usually don't have headaches ever really!. Could this be from the anesthesia!? And will it go away!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yeah, blame it on anesthesia!. Your surgeon will!.

If it's been 5 days, the anesthetic drugs are LONG gone!.

Surgery, even minor procedures, take quite a toll on your body!. There are hormonal and other changes that are caused by the stress of being cut and sewn!. Post-op pain, lack of sleep, fatigue!.!.!.!. all these can cause a headache!.

If you had a spinal, you may have an anesthesia related headache!.

Take some tylenol, and rest a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call your surgeon (there's always a MD on call)!.
Take 2 Tylenol!.
Drink lots of fluids!.
It could be anesthesia & should go away!.
Do you have any fever!? That could mean an infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could be a reaction from the anesthesia!. Call the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
