Is this hayfever?!
Question: Is this hayfever!?
Yesterday the weather was really hott and the pollen count was high but my eyes were really stinging and watering and i had a sore throat all day i wake up this morning and its tippin it down with rain horrid weather and i feel like ive got a full blown cold with a really sore throat,
is it hayfever or have i actually come down with a cold even though the weather has been hot!?!!?

it could be a cold, but usually wouldn't make your eyes water!. hay fever is an allergic reaction, which affects the eyes throat, sinus and nose!.
i'd say it is hay fever for a number of reasons:
-around 20% of the uk pop!. have hay fever, so it's very common
-now is definitely hay fever season!.
-my own dad, who had never had hay fever, one day came down with it so suddenly and severly when he was 16, that he had to be sent home from school!. my grandparents had thought he had been in a fight cos he had it so bad, his eyes and nose really swollen, yet he'd never had the slightest of sysmptoms!.
so you see, it can affect anyone, and it normally starts in your teenage years and peaks in your twenties!.
however, it could also be an allergy caused by something else, so if you've started using a new cleaning product or a new grooming product, then it could well be down to this!.
my dad says some allergy tablets do work, but a lot of the time you just have to put up with it, although he says it's gotten a lot better over the years and now it hardly affects him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like hay fever because it obviously started when the weather was hot, and even if you have never had hay fever before, it can just appear out of nowhere! I never had it before but when summer began this year I was very sneezy and itchy!. Piriton is a very good medicine for hay fever, you can buy it from a local drug store and it tastes like peppermint :] hope I helped xWww@Answer-Health@Com
it does sound like hayfever, a cold doesnt usually effect your eyes and make them water!.
