Question: Monday I had a silicon joint placed in my thumb, yesterday I had fever 102!.6, with a slight!?
sinus infection!. Today I woke up with my left calf very red and hurting!. I AM going to the ER as the hospital where I had my surgery done suggested (That was 100 miles away)!. What might it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to get to the ER ASAP~if you had surgery a week ago and you're having pain/swelling in your calf, and your surgery was on your thumb, you need to see a doctor, end of story!.!.!.!.!.!.You could be experiencing a form of infectious sepsis, which can be life threatening!.!.!.!.!.!.SEE A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER IMMEDIATELY!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Let us know how you're fairing!.!.!.!.!.

Before you jump to the conclussion that the fever may be a result if a post-op wound infection [and it might be]take a minute out and smell your cast !.What you're of course looking for is the smell of infection!. When I had my radial & ulnar nerves re attached in 1972 my hand surgeon did exactly that every time that I visited his office

Sounds like you may have infection I am no Doctor, by far!. but have had an infection before with the same like symptoms!. God Bless and will praying for you!. Glad your going back to the doctor, but hate it's so far as I know you must be feeling rotten!. God Bless you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i think you may have a infection of some sort ,the best thing for you to do is get to thehospital and see the doc ,Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its most likely an infection especially if you have a fever, go see the doc right away just incase it is an infection they can lead to nasty things if left too long!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like maybe the beginnings of infection!. You're doing the right thing by going in!.
