Question: HELP! My mom has extreme pain and stiffness in her right hand,what to do!?
She fell down while jumping from a levelled area on the street,but at that time it did not pain!.The pain only started after about 1 and a half hours,it is mostly around her wrist!. My dad has applied some ointment meant for quick pain relief for such pains!. Is there anything else we can do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds to me that she may have either strained or sprained her wrist!. I dont think she broke it because if that were the case she would be in MAJOR pain!. I have strained my ankle before and it didn't hurt until I walked on it and the pain would go away but as soon as I walked or moved a certain way it would really hurt!. I think that you should get a brace for your mom and have her take the recommended amount of Ibuprofen twice a day!. Have her elevate and ice her wrist!. Make sure to wrap the ice in a towel because we dont want to numb her wrist and make her sick with the ice!. I hope that she is OK and I hope that if you do end up going to the ER if things get worse that it isn't anything too serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would scheudle a time to go to the doctor, sounds like a fracture, and most likely needs a cast so it heals (grows the ligement) back in the right place!. I would suggest drinking plenty of water to her too!.
I smashed my hand into concreate, and my pinky hurt alot for several days, and pain left, but now I have a crooked pinky that has a lump on it!. If I had just gotten a small support on it, it would of heal correctly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should take her to the ER!. Something like this happened to my boyfriend and we all just thought he hit his finger, but come to find it out, he crushed it and broke it!. So, take her to the ER and get some x-rays quickly!Www@Answer-Health@Com

take her to the hospital!. she cld have broken, spraint or dislocated a bone!. get an x ray!.
