Question: I had a Cather the other day and now i think i have an infection!.!.!.is this possible!?
i had to have a test the other day because i keep getting bladder and kidney infections and my doctor inserted a cather and a light to look in my bladder!! Now i am hurting in my lower back and by stomach is cramping really bad it is not time for my period yet so i don't know why my stomach hurts! My pee is very cloudy and it burns but i din't go back to him until next week so i don't know what to do!

Is it possibe to get an infection from a cather! What if there was bacteria around that area and when they inserted the cather it just pushed it up in my bladder can this happen!

Yes you can get infections from a catheter!. I wouldn't wait until you had to go back for the return visit!. Tell someone what is going on and have them get you back in there ASAP!. That shouldn't have happened!. It isn't your stomach that hurts!.!.most likely your bladder!.!.just get it checked out! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
