Answers:
down is best, sorry i cant remember where i read it but putting your head back makes things worse, i'll try and find where it says it!.

found it!

"Also, don't tilt your head back!. This common practice will cause blood to run into your throat!. This can make you cough or choke"Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put an ice pack on it to slow the bleeding, if you can!
Yes, frequent nosebleeds can signal problems with blood pressure or something!.!.!.I don't know what your problem is, but you really should see a doctor, because frequent nosebleeds can be a symptom of a larger problem!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Down is best!. Up is just to get people to not be mad at you if blood falls on the ground!. In the past, up was believed to be better, but it can cause naseua, vomiting, and some other stuff I read on the internet when I was proving to my parents that up was pointless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tilting you head back upwards is better it stops the nosebleed faster!. Tilting your head forward downward will actually speed up your nose bleed!. I suggest to tilt backward (up)Www@Answer-Health@Com

down!.
up sends it back into your head or something, and causes more!.
something like that!. I'm positive its downWww@Answer-Health@Com

Third way get your doctor to cauterize the blood vessels in your nose!. I have done it, no pain no nosebleeds!. I kid you not !!Www@Answer-Health@Com
