Question: What are mind altering drugs!?
I have an appointment with a neurologist tomorrow and they sent out new patient forms for me to fill out it had a warning not to take mind altering drugs for atleast 24hrs prior to the visit!. Well the receptionist rang me this morning to make sure i was still coming in and i asked her if neurofen plus and advil were mind altering drugs or if it ment drugs for depression and illegal drugs she said she doesnt know and that the dr is busy so she cant find out for me!. So is neurofen plus that im using for pain medication mind altering!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Normally I would say they're only talking about mind altering drugs that would cause you to be wasted while your there and they wouldnt want to deal with you, but since your seeing a neurologist, it may have to do with any tests they do, your neurofen contains codeine which is a derived from a narcotic!.!.!.opium!.!.!.so i would suggest playing it safe and not taking it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Look on your bottle!. If it says "Do not operate machinery or drive a car while taking this medicine" then it's safe to say it's mind altering!. It just means any medicine that won't put you in the clearest state of mind!. If the medicine makes you drowsy or anything like that, don't take it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
