Because, I would much rather get a shot standing up!. I hate having to sacrafise myself to the needle!. Why can't the needle just come to me!? You know!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, anyone trained to administer injections may elect to do so with the patient standing!. Furthermore, a shot given in the hip is generally given while the patient is standing with their weight on the opposite leg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm not a doctor, But always have had gotten shots sitting down!. probably easier for the nurse or Doctor to do it while you are sitting!. & if you are a person who might faint, You won't fall on the floor as if you were standing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
