Question: Reaction to anesthesia, what will they do now!?
My step-dad went under anesthesia yesterday morning!. He stopped breathing, they had to shock his heart back, it took him hours to wake up, they even had to move him to ICU last night, after his blood pressure dropped really low!.
Here is my concern, he needs to have a biopsy done on a mass on one of his lungs, how will they do this!? Surely they won't put him under anesthesia again, will they!?

There are all kinds of anesthesia!. They could use conscious sedation to perform a biopsy!. It does not affect the body the same way as general anesthesia!. Don't worry, they will figure out how to treat him!. I hope he will be OK!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They will probably do nothing for a while!. They may do a needle biopsy if they can that way they give a local!. if thats an optionWww@Answer-Health@Com
