Answers:
This might not be pneumonia at all!. It could be a pinched nerve in your back, in which case, some ibuprofen will do wonders!. Are you coughing up anything!? If not, you probably don't have pneumonia!. Now given, there are plenty of lung ailments that will yield a non-productive cough, but if you're a generally health adult, you're probably fine!. Trust me, if you had pneumonia, you would have many more complaints than back pain and pain when you breathe deeply!. At worst you have bronchitis (i!.e!. upper respiratory infection)!. Take some Advil and try to get some rest, then call the doctor in the morning!. Hope you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, relax!. I doubt that you will die tonight!.
Next, put the head of your bed up, either with pillows under you or the mattress or if you are really ambitious, put something under the feet of the headboard!. This will help you breathe if you are feeling really congested in the chest!.
Take an Advil or a Motrin as they will help with any inflammation that may be happening in your chest as a result and will help with any fever!.
See the doctor in the morning!.

Pneumonia would cause chest pain, not back pain!. The pain you're describing sounds more like a muscular-skeletal problem!. In other words, you've probably strained your upper back without realizing it!. This can also make it uncomfortable to breathe!. Take 600 mg!. of Ibuprofen (Motrin) and go back to bed (or take a hot shower/bath first as the heat will also help) If it's still bothersome in the morning call your Dr!. then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not all back pain is respiratory issues or pneumonia it could be passing gas!. Many don't realize that gas travels up towards your back near the shoulder blades or a strain muscle can cause back pain!. By now you went to the doctors!. How did it go!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

staying awake just put's more stress on your body,I'd call your hospital, and just tell them, and see what they say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
