It depends if the pool water had been treated with chlorine that kills pool bacteria and algaes the water if swallowed may not cause diarhea and other intestinal disorders!. Most swimming pools are treated at least once a week to prevent living parasites from growing and migrating in pool water!. Based from experience, I have not encountered a child getting sick after drinking pool water since I teach swimming lessons to children!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If it is from a public pool it will probably only make them nauseous!. Public pools are required (health regulations) to keep a certain amount of chemicals in the water to keep it clean and bacteria free!. Non-public pools it will depend on how well the owners keep the pool clean and if they keep up on the chemicals to keep the bacteria from growing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
