Question: Respiratory therapists!.!.!?
Why don't respiratory therapists get enough respect form the population, media and doctors!? Everyone remembers nurses but who remembers the RT!?
The RT that works here is one of the most helpful and wonderful people I know, but nobody ever acknowledges him or his department!. The hospital doesn't even recognize Respiratory week but they make such a big deal for us during Nurses week!. I kinda feel sorry for themWww@Answer-Health@Com

Many other occupations are in the medical field go unnoticed and get no recognition!.Technicians Technologists Aids Volenteers, the list goes on and on!.
What you can do is exactly what you are doing!.Educate the public about how much of a team effort it is to treat and heal just one person and adventually the rest of the health professionals will have some of the credit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
