Hello,

(ANS) YES! I agree completely with Zini, the doctors letter is only required to prove that your situation is genuine!. I'm sure with a doctors letter you will get mitigation!.

**Bear in mind that a small minority of people might still try to fiddle the system to gain a qualification so that's why they want a letter!. NOT that they don't believe you personally!.

**The doctors letter proves your genuine thats all!.

PS:- I've had depression myself so you have my sincere sympathies and I hope you feel better in the near future!. Take good care of yourself!.

I sometimes feel that my doctor must be sick of the sight of me, with all the appointments I have to go to for repeat prescriptions of antidepressants, so I know how you feel!. If you need a certificate, you've got to get one!. Bite the bullet and go to your doctor!. Its what he's there for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you would need to make an appointment with the doctor who's been seeing you regularly for your treatment and can sign a form to say you've genuinely been ill and this illness is likely to have affected your dissertation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
