Okay so they are completely passed out and don't know what's going on!. So they can't breath on their own!. Is it the body that does that or what!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
When you pass out it's only your brain that takes a vacation!. Breathing is controlled by your brainstem!.The area below the brain, that joins with the spinal cord!.
A person does stop breathing on their own if they have a severe back or neck injury!.or if something is given to thm that paralyzes the diaphram!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's an involuntary response, kinda like you don't force blinking or you can't control your heart beat!. It's always going onWww@Answer-Health@Com

When people faint their brains still send a signal telling the lungs to breath!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They breathe the same as when they are asleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
