How does anesthesia feel?!
Question: How does anesthesia feel!?
I am getting an operation soon!. I am getting anesthesia by IV needles!. What does it feel like when they give you the anesthesia!. I am getting an operation and I'm super scared! Please tell me what to expect!. I think they are going to put me to sleep for a few minutes, numb my eyes, then wake me up so I will be semi-awakeWww@Answer-Health@Com

They are really good these days about telling you just exactly what they are doing and how it should make you feel!. You will probably feel a slight cool feeling in your IV arm when they inject it via the IV, and then they will ask you to count until you fall asleep!. I usually get to 4 sometimes 7, then I'm asleep and remember and feel nothing until they are finished!. Waking up is easy, and I usually drift off to sleep again for a few minutes until it starts to wear off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
they usually give you medicine orally to relax you then when it time wheel you from the room your in to another room wiht alot of beds in big room!. there they will give you and IV and you will b talking or whatever then the next thing you know you will be waking up and trying to make since of it all!. wiht me I can hear before I open my eyes!. you may have also have oxygen on which helps you wake up!. after a few minutes of waking up if you feel sick at your stomach that is normal with some people just ask for something that will help!. you will stay in that room for a little after you wake up then moved to another room where you will stay for a couple hours you will have to be able to drink something and hold it down before you will be released

I've had a few minor surgeries and have been given a anesthetic through my IV!. It's not anything to be worried about!. When they start the medication in the IV you will feel very calm and then just go to sleep!. You won't really even be aware that you've fallen asleep!.

you literally feel nothing, that is what anesthesia does and why it is used!.!.!. you may also remember nothing of the whole procedure!. You worry for nothing, and you are your own worst enemy for worry accomplishes nothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it doesn't feel like anything!. I didn't even realize they put me under 2 of the 3 times!. Last time they did it, i remember waking up and the nurse was english!. I thought i was in england somewhere!. It was a little strange!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
don't be afraid!. It makes you sleepy, that's all!. When you wake up, you'll know you're awake but unwilling to move, just like when you don't want to get out of bed early in the morning, but you're awake (kind of)!.

its very weird, you are just all of a sudden asleep!. you dont even notice anything!. sometimes you can feel it going into you through the IV but you're asleep before you know it!.

I was wide awake one minute and then I was dreaming and then I woke up and the operation was over!. It felt like normal sleep!. ( I dreamed I was in the desert and woke up very thirsty!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
