My boyfriend won't to go to doctor?!
Question: My boyfriend won't to go to doctor!?
He has really bad ashtma and he wont go to the doctor im worried about him =( he sounds like hes coughing up a lung and he just wont go!! and hes getting mad at me because i kept telling him because he sounds really bad and he says he feels like theres glass or something in his lungs and i keep saying go to the doctor and he wont go hes 18 so he can go by himself he can pay for it etc!. how can i convince him to go!? or how can i just stop stressing it since he wont listen to me!? =(

Arguing with him is just going to make a bad situation worse!. At some point his breathing will become so difficult that he won't be in a position to argue, and at that point is likely to agree to going to the ER!. Until then unfortunately he has a right to say no!. It's not the most intelligent choice, but his to make!. Ask him to write up his wishes for the funeral, and remind him asthma does kill people every year, about 20 people per 100,000 asthmatics die each year!. Old inhalers are dangerous, so don't go that route!. Just wait till he lacks breath to speak, then call the ambulance if you have to!. Hopefully, lack of breath will spark some intelligence before then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Tell him you are worried about him!. Try to convience himto atleast ask the doctor what could be done about it!. Inhalers aren't always given, he could also get shots or maybe medication!. He should atleast ask what could be done!. hth, :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
