Question: Can I wear a corset when I have a barrel ribcage!.!?
I have a barrel ribcage which means that my ribs are shaped in a style of a barrel, I would love to wear one, in the hopes of fixing my posture!. Is it a good idea to wear one!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) Can you wear a corset!? Sure! If anything, it will be slightly easier for you, as you are more used to breathing from the upper portion of your chest!.
2) Will it fix your posture!? It will provide only some temporary assistance, corsets will not fix permanent skeletal abnormalities!. Most corsets stress their compression around the waist, not up by the shoulder blades!.
3) Is it a good idea to wear one!? It depends on what you want out of it!. If you are looking for a skeletal change, look to an orthopedist!.
