Do blind people have hard skin on their fingers or sensitive skin?!
Question: Do blind people have hard skin on their fingers or sensitive skin!?
They must use their fingers a lot, so does that harden the skin when they read, or does it wear it down so it makes it easier to read!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Darling, they have the most sensitive fingertips even after using them as much as they do to read everything!. Because they need not press down very heavily, or use much force (pressure), they don't roughen up, if you will, the ends of their fingers!. Shame has two aunts, one blind, and one deaf!. I was sure to rack their brains with tons of questions many years ago!. I learned many things, and this was just one of them!. Oooh how spooky!? I wondered the very same thing as you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say it's just the same as ours, but they do say that when you go blind all your other senses are hightened and I suppose that could include the sense of touch and pressure :SWww@Answer-Health@Com
