Question: Swelling behind my kneecap!?
Ok, so i'm 21!. And when i was about 11/12 my doctor told me i had a swelling beneath my knee cap!.
But i don't really remember much else about it, what exactly is it, what causes it!. And does it go away!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably bursitis!. Your knee has a thin membrane (bursa) surrounding it!. Inside this membrane is fluid that keeps the joint moving well!. An injury can cause the sac to become filled with excess fluid (thats the cause of the swelling)!. If it doesn't go away with time, they can drain it by puncturing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
