I agree with the fact that you have to put in a little effort if you feel you really need something- like medical insurance!.
As far as getting Medicaid it depends!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
If you are a dependent of your parents, your ability to get Medicaid depends on their combined income as well as your income along with other sources of money!. However, Medicaid does allow women to get "family planning" this means you can have medicaid cover birth control expenses regardless of your income!.

The reason it is so hard for students to get federal assistance is because you are already benifiting from federal funding by having grants and scholarshipe, etc!. So the gov feels like you are double dipping if you get all this student help as well as medical help, etc!.

I suggest you go to your local Human and Health Services office and apply for what ever it is you need!.!.!.you never know!.

why mooch off the system!. a lot of college students are full time and get part time jobs to pay for books, board, food, etc!. some even apply for scholarships!. look into that via your guidance counselor!.

why should we, the hard working tax payers, have to pay for some able bodied person who is perfectly healthy and can work if they are going to school full time!.

learn to prioritize your time!. it can be done!. my sister had 3 part time jobs and went to get her bachelors degree w/honors!. if she can do it, so can you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
