A question about cuts on arms?!

Question: A question about cuts on arms!?
I tend to cut myself quite often!. I know I have a problem and I'm getting help now!. I've gone a while without doing it but I tend to do it when I'm unsure of how to act!. Like I will be doing all good then theres another bump in the road!. I get scared and turn to what I once knew!. Don't tell me to stop because I have really cut it down to hardly ever doing it!. I want to know if nail polish remover helps or doesn't help it heal!. I was told that it cleans it and reduces scars but then I was told it's bad because it scars worse!. Also, scrubbing off the scab in the shower!? Is that bad!? Should I keep them to help it heal!? Or not!? I just don't want to disappoint everyone once again so I'm trying to figure out how to make them heal!. I fully regret it!. So, please help or give tips on how to make it heal quickly!. Thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I have been in your situation before so I know how you feel!. It is very hard to stop and it's an addiction!. I'm proud that you admitted you have a problem and that you're seeking help!.

To help any cut heal, you have to use neosporin and band-aids!. Keep the cut clean and reapply as necessary!. I've never heard of using nail polish remover but that doesn't sound safe!.

Picking at scabs will prolong the healing process!. Also, stores like Rite-Aid or Walgreens supply products that help reduce the appearance of scars!. I suggest that after the wound has healed, you go and buy one!. I've seen band-aid like items as well as gel-like items!. Either one should work!.

I also suggest telling a parent or a therapist about your relapse!. Trust me, they'll find out anyways and be hurt that you didn't tell them!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
