Usually the blood work takes about 5 to 10 minutes depending if the nurse can find your vein, and what tests the doctor has ordered (some tests require different tubes of blood)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends if there are other people waiting as well!. Some hospitals aren't as efficient as others to due to lack of employees!. The last time I went for a blood test, it only took 5 minutes after they had approved all my medical information!. Results generally take a week and are then sent to your family doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is not necessary to remain long time with the Dr!. to get the blood test!. Once sample of your blood is taken lab in charge will conduct the test and submit the test report to Dr!. I f you are donating the blood you may have to remain for a minimum of 30 minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
