Question: Itchy nose on stage!?
i'm a dramatic
and when on stage i ALWAYS get an itchy nose, i cant obviously itch it and even a twitch i'll be noticed

it sounds like a "cute" problem but you probably get really frustrated with it!. a cognitive approach could work if you're willing to try it at least for a week!.!.!.
it could be that this is your mind's way of distracting you from stage fright or the anxiety that something could go wrong on stage!.!.!.!.so it presents you with a frustrating but not career-threatening issue --your itchy nose!. (our minds and bodies are always connected!.) do a "pre-emptive strike" on your nose itch!. at least 15 minutes before you go on stage, pretend that your nose is already itching and scratch it gently!. (don't overdo the scratching or you'll go onstage with a red nose!) tell yourself your nose itches horribly!. it's like doing reverse psychology on your nose!. it's like when you don't want to think about a person, you end up thinking about them anyway!? but when you tell yourself, "okay, for the next 30 minutes, all we'll do is think about him non-stop!." the conscious mind is then allowed to go where it wants to go, but you're still in control!. it's called a "container technique" - you "contain" the anxiety, fear, or recurring thought/incident!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
