What are some problems facing countries with Universal Health Insurance?!

Question: What are some problems facing countries with Universal Health Insurance!?
Answers:
In Canada there are three problems right now which are causing lengthy delays in getting surgery!. A/ an aging
population!.!.!.as the Baby Boomers are now entering their
60's age related problems are cropping up and requiring
more medical treatment etc!. B/ with huge advances in
medical treatment and research there are more and more
treatments and demand for treatments that have not yet
been proven!. and C/ due to the attitude of the 1980's ie
that the population will be so healthy by the year 2000 due to medical advances we will not need so many nurses and doctors university places for these professionals were closed!.
Now there is a real shortage of medical staff and we (along with the rest of the Western world) are scrambling to
catch up with the need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The main issue is that currently the US medical system is too expensive on a per person basis!. Meaning, it is too inefficient to quickly transition to a UHI model!.!.!.!.

In time, as costs are brought in (and they are I might add), then a UHI model might work on the US!. Right now it is unlikely it will happen in a useful manner simply because of the way the political system is currently being run!. Meaning, you would be very surprised at the power the AMA has over law makers, and they certainly are not interested in lowering cost on a per person basis!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
