Question: Have you had a life changing event due to the drug Versed!?
That drug ruined my life!.!.!.I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else on Yahoo Answers!.!.!.!.I know there are plenty of websites stating that this is the drug from hell!.!.!.!.I agree totally!. It left me with PTSD and about a 20 year span of lost precious memories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, I've received it twice!. Both times were to calm my nerves prior to major surgeries!. I had no problems with it!. I do, however, have PTSD as a result from another medical situation!. What has helped me the most was a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & good meds!. Best of luck to you & I hope you start feeling better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
All drugs can be the drugs from hell depending on the context!. Versed is commonly used as a quick way of calming a person in the hospital setting when they become combative and in danger of injuring themselves by pulling out tubes and lines!. It's also used to temporarily sedate a person in order to intubate them to protect their airway!. I personally have not had a situation or heard of a patient having a bad reaction, not to say it hasn't happened I'm sure!. If someone has never had a certain drug before, then we don't know if they'll have an untoward reaction!. The context of the use is important!. And considering the myriad of other variables that could contribute to a reaction!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
reactions to versed are not common!. Also versed is always given with something else!. So, it usually isnt just the versed that causes the problems!. It sounds like you need to move on with your life and stop looking for problems and things that caused those problems!. PTSD can be cuased by A LOT of things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
