For one, you're like me and have a very thin bone structure!. People call me anorexic a LOT (even doctors call me an anorexic injustly) yet I eat decently well when I'm not nervous!. On vacations I quickly recover the weight I lose during a semester and go back to my normal 45-46 kg!. I've never weighed more than 47 kg in my life!.

My bones are insanely thin looking, but because I do exercise, the bones are very hard and resistant!. I had a guy at the gym say I was like him, a false thing person!. Despite my dainty appearance, I could lift in a free sit-up without a lot of problems 40 kg (getting close to my old record of 60 kg on that machine)!.

I even eat cake and cookies a lot but don't gain weight because of my body characteristics!.

You have that same kind of body for better or for worse!. I used to be disproportionately thin with no meat at all, but when I started going to the gym religiously at age 16 I gained muscle mass very fast!. I still look very thin, but I actually have muscles so I look less gauky than before!.

You should consider going to a gym too, a good trainer will make your body stronger and fill in those musces so that you look more proportional!. A nutritionist can give you a diet that can increase muscle mass to speed things up!. If you go to the gym and work hard, you can see good results in just 6 months because you don't have fat to burn!.

In your case, the thinness is more genetic than anything, and even if you wished to recover lost time, if there was any damage done, it's done!. Had you gone to the gym at the age I did, you would have grown taller (I grew quite a lot in that time and achieved the impressive height of 5'1)!. haha

Severe malnutrition can cause long term brain damage, mostly lost IQ and a bit of slowness in thought processes!. The damage is worse the younger you are (hence why the worst malformations happen to fetuses)!. However, if you work on your brain a lot with puzzles and such, you can still recover some lost ground by forcing your neruons to make more connections with eachother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will definitely effect your body!. If you keep up with the weight you're at now it could very well lead to severe health problems and possible death!.
Eat lots of protein, vegetables and stick to three square meals that cover the basics!.
Also I think it would be good for you to talk with your doctor and check out your current health condition and also figure out a meal plan for yourself to bring your weight up to a healthy level!.
Even meeting with a nutritionist would be very good for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can get your period back and put on 20 pounds, you'll find the human body is very forgiving, and the past will be forgotten!. Good luck to you!
Interesting question deserves a star in my book! :)
(Edit) Are you lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's!? If so, take a couple hours to walk the aisles and you'll find the best caloric healthy foods around!! You can do the same at any health food store, or even the health food aisle in the supermarket!.
Lucky you! You get to eat, eat, eat! Good luck again! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

ur fine sweetie, but yes, very thin!. Try eating more or drink those nutrious shakes, take a multi-vitamin everyday!. As long as you feel healthy and have considerable energy, I don't think u have anything to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Being thin in itself is not a bad thing!. Not getting enough nutrients is what's bad for your health!. As long as your getting enough nutrients and vitamins, it doesn't matter how long you stay thin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to eat!.
you might think that you're eating enough but aparently you're not!.
eat alot but not too unhealthy stuff!. and only eat alot untill you're averageWww@Answer-Health@Com
