Question: What is the endocrinologist going to do!? Please read!.!?
I recently had an MRI done and they found some kind of micro-something!. & they think that my hormones might be out of whack!. They're sending me to an endocrinologist!. My question is what is he he/she going do!? what kind of tests!? I'm only a 17 year old girl by the way so please give serious answers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The main thing the endocrinologist will probably do is order a whole load more blood tests for hormones!. It sounds like your doctors might suspect a problem with the pituitary gland, which is a little thing in your head underneath your brain, and it controls a lot of the hormones in your body!. So problems with it will affect the amount of hormones that your body produces - the doctor will want to know which ones are high or low!. They will probably ask you questions to do with hormones, like asking you about your menstrual cycle, etc!. Endocrinologists see a lot of patients with this kind of problem, so it will be a very familiar thing to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
