Weird ball of stuff in throat???!

Question: Weird ball of stuff in throat!?!?!?

I used to get this when I was little but haven't had it in a really long time!.

It's hard to explain but the best way is a chunk on white'ish yellow small chunk of stuff that comes from my throat!. It's just one little piece and smells bad!. It feels like something is in my throat and then I coughed it up!.
I know it's gross!! lol
What is this!? What causes it!?

I dont have an infection or anything> I have heard it can be caused by allergies or sinuses!.

They are called Tonsilliths!. They are cause by "bacterial and epithelial debris" that accumulate in tonsil crypts!. That means that they are made out of the tissue that forms the crypt--skin and mucus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK, well I get this occassionally too - not in a long long time though!. With me, it gets stuck in this flap-like piece of skin at the back of my mouth - front of the throat opening!. Sometimes, I feel it there and it won't come out!. I have to literally take a paper clip, make it long and then try to get it out!. Sometimes there's alot stuck in there!. Gross I know! Not sure if this is the same thing, but mine is also yellowish and chunky!. I think it's just food stuck there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had the same thing and always wondered what it was mine also was in the little flap thing in the back fo my throat and I had to get it off it is nasty and I am not sure what it is but can't be anything serious obviously several people have had this same thing!. I do wish I knew exactly what it was though too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
