Why do my lymph nodes in my neck hurt?!

Question: Why do my lymph nodes in my neck hurt!?
I just started this job at a hotel on Friday night that requires me to do 15 minute inspections of a the hotel every 2 hours, and I am also required to to be oncall from 6pm to 7am every night, and from 2pm Saturday to 7am Monday morning (I have to answer the phone in my room if someone calls for being locked out or if they need to check in/out or for any other complaints, etc)!. As you can imagine, I haven't gotten much rest- I have been so busy running around helping people (in the middle of the night), and am stressed and frustrated!. Well, lucky me, I started my period Sunday night!. And when I woke up Monday morning, the lymph nodes in my neck hurt!. I am not running a fever, and I feel fine!. I have no signs of illness, other than the pain!. Could the pain in my lymph nodes be caused by this stressful/demanding job, or by menstruation/hormones!? (I've never had lymph node pain from my period before)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
most likely its your glands that are swollen, and for one of two reasons!. the change in the air that u are not used to, your room could be too dry!. or you are so restless you are sleeping with your mouth open and thats making the back of your throat sore and dry daily, also allowing allergies to be inhaled directly!. try allergy medication if you have no fever and no other symptoms of a cold!. and warm tea will sooth it immediately either way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lymph nodes are a defense mechanism of your body against infection!. I would guess that you have an infection!. Your best bet is to see a physician as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
