Keratosis Pilaris - Stubborn Problem.?!

Question: Keratosis Pilaris - Stubborn Problem!.!?
I've asked a question about KP before and ive tried a lot of things!. I'm 14 and ive tried!.!.

- Exfoliating in the bath with scrubs and loofah sponges!.
- Intense moisturizing and i apply it often, especially when i get out of the bath!.
- I've tried my prescribed creams that ive got for ecezema (hyrdocortosine) as i thought it would reduce the redness and bumps but it hasnt worked!.
- I've even tried sunbathing - it doesnt work!.

:(
I hate it and its summer now so i wear sleevless tops its all over my arms (upper and lower) and its red so you can see it really well now and its getting worse as its developing on my thighs now!.

Parents wont let me go to the doc - they said its harmless and i should just leave it!.

I want to get rid of it!

I live in the UK!.!. i have access to pharmacies & boots!.

Thankyou in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately this is all there is for now, I understand how important this is to anyone especially to a 14 yr old!. Image is just about everything at your age no matter where you live!. I'm hoping that your parents will see how this is effecting you and come up with some way of taking you to a doctor or clinic for some treatment and medication!. Are there any free clinics!? any way to raise the funds to go to one!? I wish you all the best, and remember that people will not judge you by this problem!. They will see you as who you are!
Good Luck!
There is currently no known cure for keratosis pilaris; however, there are effective treatments available which make its symptoms less apparent!. The condition often improves with age and can even disappear completely in adulthood, though some will show signs of keratosis pilaris for life!. Some treatments are largely symptomatic and may need repeating!. Regardless, exfoliation, intensive moisturizing cremes, lac-hydrin, Retin A and medicated lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids or urea may be used to temporarily improve the appearance and texture of affected skin!. Also, beta hydroxy acids can help improve the appearance and texture of the afflicted skin!. Milk baths may provide some cosmetic improvement due to the lactic acid
