try melatonin it is the natural sleep aid!.!.!.!. it will help you unwind and slow down the racing thoughts!. it also helps to turn the lights down low at night to get your brain ready for sleep to much light tricks your brain into thinking it is day time!. you will need to get into a nightly routine and take the melatonin a hour before you are ready for bed!. it may take a few weeks to see the benefit of the melatonin but do not give up it will help!!!!! after you take it for a few moths to a year you can stop taking it and still sleep great because it reprograms your brain to sleep at night!!!! it has worked great for me!.!.!.!. however, the first time i tried t i thought it did not work because i only took it a few weeks!.!.!.!. you must try it for 3 to 4 weeks before giving up it really will help!!!!! one last note!.!.!.!. stop drinking coffee or soda until you are sleeping good again!.!.!.!. then you can slowly add it and see if your OK or if you need to stay off of it longer!.!.!.!. best of luck and sweet dreams!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Melatonin is my best recommendation for you!. I take 1-2 500mcg tablets if I'm really awake and only one if I am just restless!. It is a natural supplement and easy to find!. It does not make me have any sort of a "hang over" and it is not addictive!. It can be found in chewable form at Trader Joes and I have converted plenty of Tylenol Pm or Ambien addicts!!!! I stumbled upon this a while ago, and if you have a computer near where you sleep, leave it on and hopefully you'll find some good tunes to put you to sleep!.

If that doesn't work, just lay there with your eyes open, just staring, until you literally can't hold them open anymore!.

If you have satellite TV, then there is a show I think called "how it's made" with this narrator with a fantastically monotone voice that puts me to sleep in no time !. !. !. just save it on your DVR and play it whenever you need to snooze (the material/info on the show could have potential, but the delivery is so boring)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lettuce!. Yes lettuce!. Take a handful of lettuce and eat it before you go to bed!. About 2 times the amount you would put in a sandwich!.

drink warm milk
wear a pair of socks(it regulates blood flow)
sleep with a cool pillow

Why are you having insomnia!? Stay away from stimulants and try OCD products like Tyl PM or Nyquil!. Is there something going on that is giving you insomnia!? That information would help!. Check your blood pressure!. Any other symptoms/signs!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
