What is wrong with my husband's throat?!
Question: What is wrong with my husband's throat!?
He's leaving for a business trip at 5:30am, so going to the dr is out of the question until Friday!.
He has these hard, white sores in his mouth-- all over his mouth, and on his tonsils!. It's not thrush-- I've had that before and know what it looks like!. A couple of the sores are bleeding!. They don't look like strep throat blisters either and his temperature is low (96!.3)!. He is tired and his ear hurts!.
He had some bumps in his throat and an ear ache about a week and a half ago before we left for our vacation!. He went to the dr then and they aid he "had small ear canals and his sinuses were having trouble draining"!. They swabbed his throat for strep!. Nada!. About 3 days into the vacation, his sores started clearing up and were completely gone by the time we left to come home!. We got back Friday and since yesterday, the bumps are back and so is his sore throat!.
What could it be!? Could it be a possible allergy affect!? He's lived in this town for 6 yrs though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I cant say what it is but can suggest what to help perhaps!. Take zinc, or suck zinc lozenges!. This is good for throat infections and men also need more zinc!. Also salt gargel water warm morning and night!. *mamatxWww@Answer-Health@Com
new allergies arise in people everyday!!!! one day I wasn't allergic to Ibroprofen, the next, I was in the hospital with my throat swollen shut and my body plumped out three times its normal size!.!.!.!. Did you try Sudafed or Benadryl!?!?!?!?!? I sure hope he feels better, gosh that's not a happy situation!.!.!. My heart pours out to you as a wife!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

could be oral thrush!. It's a yeast infection in the mouth!. Visit your doctor again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could still be strep or ulcers in the mouth especially if he is stressed!. Was he using the same tooth brush on the trip as the one at home!? He might just need a new tooth brush!. If it is thrush he should be able to scrape the white off his throat; thrush is just a yeast infection and can be cause by stress and many other various things!. A yeast infection can be transferred easily enough so you might need to both make an appointment!. Most mouth ulcers are caused by yeast infections as well!. These can also be cause by HPV, Human Papaloma Virus so he should probably go see an ENT just to be double sure there is not more to this than just a soar throat!. If he has open sores in his throat he should gargle with warm salt water several times a day to help heal the sores!.
