LED Explodes In Hand? Red Dots??!

Question: LED Explodes In Hand!? Red Dots!?!?
Earlier today, I was removing a LED light from an old remote when the LED exploded! I must have squeezed it too hard but I don't really know why it exploded!. A few minutes later, my hand started to sting a bit!. I looked down, and there were 20 or so little red dots! I am guessing that when the LED exploded, the tiny shards of glass entred my skin! After about 30 minutes, the redness of the dots decreased, but it still kinda stings!. My question is: Did the actual glass go into my skin, or did I have a reaction to the stuff that is inside of the LED!? If it is glass-splinters, what should I do to get the glass out or make sure it doesn't get infected!? If it isn't the glass, what is it!? What should I do!? Any advice!? Thanks for your help!Www@Answer-Health@Com
