Question for nurses?!
Question: Question for nurses!?
Professionally, I'm an information technology engineer and am in the process of a career change into the nursing field I'm unsure whether to pursue an AS or BSN!. I currently have two degrees: an AA in Electronics Engineering and a BA in Information Systems!. For someone with my professional and educational background, what would be the best path for me to pursue!? If I choose the AS route, will my future career growth prospects be limited or will the degrees that I bring to the table along with the AS in nursing compensate!? For someone in my position, is there an advantage to having a BSN!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a nurses aide right now and just an RN student but what i have read and heard is as a nurse the pay really isnt different if you have a BSN or an AS!.
Nursing only gets different when you actually get a Masters!.!.
But as for being an RN getting either a BSN or AS there isnt really a difference!.!.!.!. and if you just get an AS you can always continue your education and get a BSN!.!.
hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
