The dosage depends on what your GP thinks is suitable!.
I take it for a neck injury as it is also a muscle relaxant - I take 25mg - World War Three could start and I wouldn't know about it!.
But the bigger question is why are you anxious - being over anxious can also lead to sleep problems and you may need to talk to your GP to get him/her to increase the dose slightly!.

I did for 14 years and am now off of it!. I started at the lowest dose and took it for sleeping!. They gradually upped the dose to 50mg in the end!. It's not considered an anti-depressant unless you take over 100mg a day!.
The biggest problem with that pill that I had was the weight gain!. When I went off of it, I lost 35 pounds in the next two months, and I wasn't trying to lose weight!
It was a great medication for me, though, and it did what it was suppose to do!. I am now on a daily sleep medication instead because I had a sleep study done and they diagnosed me with 2 sleeping disorders!. My life got a lot better after I learned how to calm down and relax with my thoughts instead of relying on meds!.
